Licensor and activation

A licence grant activates only after the exact six-document packet is accepted and a valid immutable license.gmlic is issued to the named holder.

• The file binds holder identity, Bear tier, up to 50 active users, one installation contour, validity, grace, edition, features, and exact artifact entitlement.
• This draft is not an issued licence and grants no present download, installation, copying, or use right.
• The provider and Licensor may be different people; ownership of software does not itself make the Licensor controller of customer data.

Permitted internal use

During the six-month term, the holder receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, royalty-free right to run the exact entitled Corporate Beta for internal evaluation and non-critical internal operational work.

• An individual uses it for that holder's own internal purposes; a professional or organization permits only authorized internal users within 50 active seats.
• One installation contour means one operational deployment identity, including an approved replacement-host restore, not parallel active deployments.
• Risk-appropriate encrypted backups and one verified recovery artifact may be retained solely for continuity.
• No paid subscription or automatic renewal is created.

Restrictions and ownership

The holder must not sell, rent, lease, sublicense, redistribute, publish, transfer, provide GutMask or a GutMask-powered service to a third party, or share licence or signing material outside the licensed contour.

• Do not defeat seat, term, entitlement, signature, edition, or other technical restrictions.
• No source-code, trademark, future-version, stable-channel, paid-production, or trust-root-transition right is granted.
• Mandatory statutory interoperability, security research, backup, or other exceptions remain available where they cannot be waived.
• The Licensor retains rights not expressly granted.

Updates, security, and third-party materials

Each public-beta update is a separate manual download requiring current entitlement and offline verification. There is no automatic or in-product beta updater.

• The package must carry exact LICENSE.txt, checksums, signature evidence, SBOM, and third-party notices.
• Third-party and Portal open-source components remain governed by their own included licences.
• The holder protects credentials, recovery material, local infrastructure, backups, and follows shipped hardening guidance.
• A detached beta signature does not create trusted Windows Authenticode publisher status.

Expiry, grace, and termination

The term ends on the valid-until date in license.gmlic. The next 30 days are grace. After grace, only runtime, read, export, and rollback continuity remains so the holder can retrieve data and transition safely.

• New users, administrative changes, updates, and ordinary support are unavailable in continuity-only mode.
• A new free term requires new issuance, current-document acceptance, and current screening while the beta program remains available.
• Material breach, unlawful use, or invalid entitlement may lead to proportionate suspension or termination, with notice and review where safe and lawful.
• Termination does not silently create a paid obligation.

Beta limitations and mandatory rights

Corporate Beta is pre-release and supplied without an SLA or promise of uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or fit-for-critical operation. The holder is responsible for testing, backups, non-critical use, and rollback.

• To the extent permitted by law, no additional implied promise is made and liability may be limited for indirect or unforeseeable loss.
• Nothing excludes fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury, or any conformity duty, remedy, warranty, or liability mandatory law does not allow to be excluded.
• EUR 0 and beta status do not remove consumer rights.
• No certification, support time, or future commercial offer is promised.

Consumers, immediate supply, and law

Where mandatory consumer law applies, the applicable 14-day withdrawal right is preserved. Before immediate delivery during that period, the separate supply acknowledgement described in the Corporate Beta Terms must be recorded.
